THE POSITION INVOLVES SELLING CTI's medical transcription services to hospitals and outpatient clinics in Southern/Central California expanding to Western Regional States. Transcription is a must-have service for hospitals and clinics for medical insurance reimbursement and charting. CTI's exceptional service levels ensure a high rate of new and referred clients. We have a client retention rate of more than 90%. You will call on hospitals/clinics in your region and sell them our state-of-the-art service. We will give preference to candidates that are willing to work from our headquarters in Irvine California.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE will have:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in outside sales.
  • A Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Experience with HIM\Healthcare sales preferred.
  • Clarity of his/her professional goals and objectives.
  • Self-starter with the ability to focus in a sustained manner on reaching goals.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to prospect and close new accounts.
  • Demonstrate a professional presentation
  • Experience with RFP response, lead generation, and relationship building.
  • Basic computer skills including ACT!, Windows XP, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Clinic Transcription

Chronicle Transcripts has immediate openings for qualified, experienced transcriptionists for all specialities/outpatient clinic progress note transcription. We have multiple positions open due to growth and increasing workload. Positions are employee status, full-time preferred, few part-time positions available. Work schedules are Tues.-Sat. or Sun.-Thurs. Your main work type will be clinic progress notes for an outpatient clinic (80%). You may also transcribe some ER and/or discharge summaries (20%). To qualify for these positions you must have at least 3 years experience transcribing acute care and/or experience transcribing for a multi-speciality clinic with multiple dictators and dialects. We are currently unable to hire new graduates at this time. You must be able to accurately transcribe all types of dictation, from simple to those more complicated, including ESL, though this is a low ESL account. You will need an up-to-date newer computer system with Windows XP (with at least 1GB RAM) or Vista (with at least 2GB RAM), a processor speed of 1.8 GHZ or greater, a video card that supports a minimum resolution of 1024 x 728, a sound blaster or sound blaster compatible sound card, and an available 1.0 or 2.0 USB port. Please make sure you have these requirements before applying or you are willing to obtain them. Also required is high speed Internet access - DSL or Cable Internet connectivity; no dial up or satellite connections. It is highly recommended that you have an updated virus scanner and be capable of keeping it updated. You need to be competent using email with MS Outlook or Outlook Express and resourceful at navigating the Internet as a research tool.
