Chronicle Transcripts promotes the practice of proofreading during the transcription process, promoting a quality product for our clients in the production environment. We maintain a staff of Quality Assurance Specialists whose responsibilities are to assure the use of appropriate formats and the accuracy and consistency of all reports. The proofreading staff is responsible for reviewing work, performing edits and filling in deficient data that may be on reports due to items that may not be clear to the transcriptionist or initially omitted by dictator.

Each transcriptionist's work is monitored on a periodic basis, frequency is determined based upon the time employed and previous performance. If opportunities to improve the quality of transcription are identified, appropriate action is taken to improve or correct the problem.
